Hey Sara. I got on your blog by a post in the "Christian Mothers of Large Families" facebook group, the one about how getting rid of stuff doesn't fix the heart issues. I really appreciated it. I have a similar story - saved but once I was saved I thought I had to do it on my own. Like Jesus was good for salvation, but from then on it was up to me. We moved to SoCalifornia so my husband could go to seminary and started attending a Reformed gospel-centered church, and suddenly I began to realize that Jesus' perfect life was enough for me! Two ladies there really impacted me, Kimm Crandall and Elyse Fitzpatrick. They're both authors now. I found Elyse's grace-based parenting book revolutionary. Have you read it? Anyways, I'm just starting to get serious about my blog and I'm trying to figure out how to get it more focused on grace. I'd like to link your blog as one to check out, but wanted to check with you first. My blog is natnkat.wordpress.com Dropping Keys is also a good blog to check out for grace-based articles too, Kimm is a contributor there so that's how I know about it. I figure you probably need to be plugged into other grace based things too - I know I need constant reminders! :) Katherine (ps I tried the contact you but it didn't work so trying this as a comment, but I don't really want it to show up as a comment. :)
Hi Katherine! Yes, feel free to link to my blog. I look forward to checking out yours! It's always fun to connect with others who are impacted by the beauty of daily grace. Thanks for getting in touch!
Hi Ruth! My book was just released in a German translation. If you know of a Spanish translator who translates Christian books, let me know! I'd love to make this material available to more moms. Thanks!
We were here for 4 years, moved away for 3 and have been back for 2 years. My kids are 13, 12, 10 and 10, and we would love to play with you. :) Looking for your email now...
Just wanted to say that I read your article on showing kids beautiful things and it really was perfect timing. I'm a mom of 4 kids: 1 girl, twin boys and a toddler (boy) and I never realized how tough being a parent is. I am learning slowly to always be centered on the gospel especially in my parenting and its so refreshing to see other moms who 'get it.' God bless you Sarah!
Hello Sara. I have the blessing of a great neighbourwoman, that brought me your book in german translation.my english isn't so well to read and understand all. And then I found the blog of your translation-woman (or how ever it is called in english) and it is such a great great blessing to read your thoughts full of gospel and Grace. While I was reading I had a calming grace in my heart about my motherhood. Thanks a lot♡ Best wishes from Germany from Tina (mother of 3 in age of 13/9/2)

DeleteIs there a Spanish translation? This is such a great book and I'm pretty sad that I cannot share it with family that cannot understand English :/

Hi Jenny! Yes, we are in CDA! How long have you been in Spokane? How old are your kids now? Maybe we could have a play date!
